This workshop will take you to that care-free place, where you can express judgement-free, collaborating with new and old friends, with the soul purpose of having a great time. Put responsibility to rest and unleash all that pent up creative energy!

In this unique workshop, you will have the opportunity to settle into yourself leaving the outside world behind. Our goal is explore and play as you are lead through an organized art project. Sometimes we will be divided into groups and other times we will work solo, with the option to explore the activity through visual expression, 3-D form such as clay, writing or body expression.
Creative Openings has been in an art gallery as an art class, a youth drop-in center, hosted at a health and wellness center and in homes as an art party. Each gathering is unique to its location and attendees.

Each gathering begins with a short guided meditation, and an invitation to explore your creative side. The meditation helps to bring presence into the room and into the experience of creative exploration.
Next is a conversation and activity that helps bring you into an easy place of exploration. In one gathering we made lists of our favorite childhood activities and created plans to recreate this experience.
The majority of the gathering is an organized art project. Participants will be divided into groups with the option to explore the activity through visual expression, 3-D form such as clay, writing or body expression.
I will guide you through a fun and joyful experience, that allows you to put down your responsible adult life, and let your child-self play and express!
